The SnowBots Middle School Robotics groups contended in Kingsford, Mich., a weekend ago for the Yeti Cup U.P. FIRST Tech Challenge automated qualifier rivalry. Each of the three groups were in the finals and brought home honors from the challenge. SnowBots groups are available to territory 6th eighth grade understudies, and meet at Houghton Middle School. SnowBots groups are supported by: Michigan Department of Education, GS Engineering, Destination Unstoppable, Boundary Labs, ThermoAnalytics, IR Telemetrics, Michigan Tech Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Michigan Tech Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics Department, Monte Consulting, and Houghton Portage Township Schools. The Copper Country was likewise very much spoken to with 18 network volunteers supporting the occasion.
