The SnowBots Middle School Robotics groups contended in Kingsford a weekend ago for the Yeti Cup U.P. FIRST Tech Challenge mechanical qualifier rivalry. Every one of the three groups were in the finals and brought home honors from the challenge. SnowBots groups are available to territory 6th eighth grade understudies, and meet at Houghton Middle School.
SnowBots groups are supported by: Michigan Department of Education, GS Engineering, Destination Unstoppable, Boundary Labs, ThermoAnalytics, IR Telemetrics, Michigan Tech Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Michigan Tech Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics Department, Monte Consulting, and Houghton Portage Township Schools. The Kingsford occasion was supported to some degree by Michigan Technological University College of Computing. The Copper Country was additionally very much spoken to with 18 network volunteers supporting the occasion.

The SnowBots Middle School Robotics groups arrived at a first-historically speaking achievement at the Pellston local FIRST Tech Challenge qualifier on Nov 23rd. Each of the three groups, distinguished by the hues Blue, Red, and Silver, have now able to contend at the state title Dec. 13-14 in Battle Creek. SnowBots Blue and Silver qualified on Nov. 9 and the Red group will go along with them after their incredible execution in Pellston.
